MHCC is a not for profit organization whose mission is to help elders and disabled adults remain safely in their communities through the provision of home care and other community-based services.
All of the money raised at the tournament is used to support the agency’s volunteer programs. Through the three volunteer programs, the agency helps over 4,000 elders in the Montachusett area. These programs provide advocacy for nursing home residents to ensure that their care needs are adequately met, transportation to medical appointments, companionship and shopping services for elders and money management assistance to elders and disabled persons who can no longer manage their own finances.
