Montachusett Home Care hosted its 12th annual Community Resource Expo on Thursday, September 12th at Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg.
Hundreds of members of the community received free health screenings, information and resources provided by over 50 local companies that serve the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities. Attendees also danced and were entertained by Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Sponsors for the event included: Seraphic Springs Health Care Agency, Inc.; Rollstone Bank & Trust; Medical Arts Hearing Instruments; Senior Whole Health; UnitedHealthcare Community Plan; aveanna Healthcare; and Comfort Home Care Visiting Nursing Services.
Montachusett Home Care, a non-profit agency headquartered in Leominster MA, serves 21 local cities and towns by providing comprehensive information and quality services so that older people, individuals with disabilities and their families are empowered to make personalized choices to ensure a life of dignity, safety and respect.
